The world of embracing colours

“It is shivering how she can express the vibration of the surface, material and curves on the canvas and the way she is able to recreate a vivid, pure harmony with her representational technique.

Her depiction of dancing phenomena is especially exciting, let it be a colourful dance, ducks swimming on a pond with their concentric marks left on the surface or the realization of her own inner path of feelings inexpressible by words. I cannot talk about her work without high spirits since I am lift up and fascinated by the flow of beauty whenever I am amazed at her paintings. “

We came across with the wonderful still-life of Éva at a painting exhibition in the 90’s. It was love at first sight. Ever since then it has been a very specific part of our home.

Due to our mutual love towards dancing, we got the chance to meet Éva in person after 20 years.

By now, one of her paintings, that were inspired by dancing, also ornates our house. We feel blessed not only to have these amazing compositions, but also to know their painter.

And so, we know the secret: The theme, that inspires the artist, is only a base. Her art reflects her vivacious and harmonious personality, whether a tuscan landscape, a still-life, or the beauty of dance appears on her canvas.

“The artistess made my visit to the St. Andrews Botanic Garden, a decisive experience in my life, an eternal memory in the form of a beautiful oil painting. It was an honourable feeling that she accepted my request with pleasure and she painted it in a short time. The result speaks for itself. It was one of my best decisions in my life.”

“First I could not choose between two paintings. Gradually, as I was observing the painting more closely I realized that it show exactly what I think about relationships. A woman arrives to a strong, charismatic and intelligent man. She fits in his arms. The painting expresses this moment so powerfully that the vivid colours are just the whipped cream on a sundae.”
